Announcements
Super Bowl Slider Fundraiser: The Jr High Fusion students are selling Super Bowl Sliders on February 1. Please find a student to sign up with, or there is a sign-up sheet on the coffee counter. Pickup will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Feb.1. Order forms are due back on Midweek, Jan 29. Students, please be at church at 8:00 a.m. on the 1st to assemble them. Parents, we would love your help also!
Care Groups: We are excited to announce the launch of our new Care Groups! Our congregation will be forming 8 groups with an Elder & a Deacon leading the group, providing a wonderful opportunity to connect, support, and grow closer as a church family. These groups are designed to foster meaningful relationships where members can pray together, share meals, and care for one another in times of need. If you require any support, your Care Group will be your first point of contact, offering love and support. "Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." — Galatians 6:2
Save the Date: On March 5th, Edge Youth will be hosting a soup supper and donation auction to raise funds for our mission trip to San Marcos, Texas, in June. The proceeds will help cover transportation costs. We are currently seeking items for the auction. Do you have a special skill or talent? Perhaps you create delicious food or handcrafted items? Do you have something unique, fun, or exciting that you could donate? If you have any questions or would like to donate an item, please contact Diane Brockberg. We appreciate your support!
Directory: If you have any address or phone number changes from last years directory, please put this information in the box outside Kris’ office.
Blood Mobile: There will be a Red Cross blood drive at the First Christian Reformed Church in Edgerton on Monday, January 27 from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Please call Betty at 507-227-8416 to make or confirm an appointment. There is a constant need for blood. We would like to encourage our young adults to come and donate a unit of blood for someone/somewhere. Anyone 16 yrs (with parents consent) and older and in good health is eligible to donate.
Foundations of Faith: Join us for 'Foundations of Faith,' starting February 2nd at 10:50 a.m. in the Jr. High Catechism room. This monthly class, meeting on the first Sunday of each month, dives deep into the EPC Leadership Training Manual to enrich our understanding of core Christian doctrines. Don't miss this opportunity to deepen your faith through study of the Reformed faith. See you there!
Note: We the Edgebrook Aux ladies would like to inform the public of what our group does. We have a business meeting once a month to discuss expenses & possible purchases. We have fundraisers periodically through out the year, the public has been very supportive of our ollie bollen projects! We purchase items for the residents of Edgebrook Estates that aren’t always looked at closely. Some of those purchases in the last few years are: a larger TV/Sound bar & couch for the sunroom, 4 chairs for the fireplace area, and a new PA system for the home and researching one for Assisted Living, redecorating & flooring for employee lunchroom bathroom. Rock River Landscaping has done a lot of improvements around the grounds a well - paid for by the Auxiliary. We also purchase and maintain flowers in the summer in various pots around the campus. We are always open to donations from individuals as well as businesses as our money goes a lot farther with outside donations. We are always looking for new members as well. Any questions - contact Brenda Hamm, President
