December 17, 2023 Bulletin Announcements
Note: We are in need of some men to help set up the risers today,
following the morning service.
Looking for donations of Auction Items: Edge Youth is having a live auction on January 10th to help raise funds for their summer trip to RYM Colorado! We are looking for items to be auctioned off. Do you have any homemade goods, handmade items, special trades you're known for, or new items that we can auction off? Talk to Mark or Diane Brockberg by January 3rd.
Elders/Deacons: Those who have been elected for the office of Elder are Scott Wassink, Lloyd Van’t Hof, and Doug Kroh. Those Elected for the office of Deacon are Eric Hulstein, Jake Post, and Brandon Huisken. If there is any scriptural reason why these men should not be ordained and installed to their office, please see Gene Westenberg or Pastor Mark.
Shut-ins: If you are interested in mailing something to the shut-ins during the holiday season, there is a list on the table in the Narthex.
Pigs-in-the-blanket: Please get your pigs-in-the-blanket orders in for the holidays so you won’t be disappointed that they are gone.
Law Enforcement Training: On Wednesday, December 20, Pipestone County Law Enforcement will be utilizing our building as they perform a H.E.A.T. Team Training. We ask that NO visitors come into the building between 11am-6pm. Thanks!
Dwell in the Word: Pastor Mark has edited and retooled the teaching from his Dwell in the Word videos on Philippians into a short devotional book. You can get a copy at the Welcome Desk for $5.00. “Dwell in Philippians” is also available on Kindle for $2.99.
Thank you to everyone who attended and supported Pastor Mark’s fundraiser this past Wednesday night. We raised $3,300.21 to go towards travel expenses to Ethiopia.
Thank you for the donation of bags of coats. We appreciate your generosity. God Bless You!
