This Week’s Announcements

VBS:  Get ready for an unforgettable adventure at this year’s Vacation Bible School from June 9-13! Volunteers: We’re also calling all adventurers-at-heart to lend a hand — we need volunteers to help guide our young explorers from one exciting activity to the next. Please consider helping, volunteers are an essential part of this ministry.

Jr High Fusion Taco Supper: Thank you to those who supported us in our Jr. High Youth fundraiser on April 16. We raised $1,156.00. Thanks again!

Thank You: As our season of youth programs comes to a close, we want to extend a thank you to everyone who poured into the lives of our young people this year. To our Sunday School and Midweek teachers, our choir director, our meal volunteers, and all who served, taught, and led—you’ve made an impact. Your time and energy has helped plant seeds for Christ, and we are so grateful for the love you've shown. Thank you again!

Note:  The Maundy Thursday brunch offering for the Food Shelf came to $562.00.

Pigs-in-the-Blanket:  We will be making pigs on Monday, May 5 at 9:00 a.m. and Tuesday, May 6 at 1:00 p.m.

Church Name Discussion: Since our denominational change in 2022, there have been continued questions & conversations about the possibility of changing our church name. At this time, nothing is decided — we are simply in the discussion phase. A committee made up of members of all ages is exploring ideas and gathering thoughts. If you have any questions, please talk to Merri Post.

Midweek:  We’re starting to plan the 2025–2026 Midweek year! If you’ve never volunteered before and feel called to help, we’d love for you to join us. Or if you’ve taught in the past and would like to lead again, please talk to Caty Arp. We’re looking for teachers and chaperones. This is one way we live out our baptismal promise — to guide and support our children as they grow in faith. We need you to make this happen!

Speaker:  We would love for you to join us at American Reformed Church in Luverne MN at 4:00 PM on Sunday, May 4 for an inspiring event and hear how Robin Sertell survived all odds to grow into the talented woman she is today. Robin survived three saline abortion attempts and now travels the world equipping other survivors to be a voice and share their stories. Robin has written 2 books and addresses the Civic and Social issues surrounding Pro-Life Advocacy. You are Unique. You are Loved. Your Life has Value. What will you do with the Time God has given you? A freewill offering will be received for Robin.

ATLAS:  The ATLAS for Life Always Growing Greenhouse will be opening soon! Come enjoy the beauty of God’s beautiful handiwork as you look forward to filling those planters and gardens. A great gift idea – an Always Growing Greenhouse gift certificate! Look for the opening date for the greenhouse on the grounds of Hubers Automotive – 105 8th Ave. (next to 8th Ave. Diner and across from Luann’s Gas).

Upcoming Dates:

Senior Sunday  -  May 18
Baccalaureate  -  May 18, 6:30 p.m.
